American actor and musician Johnny Deep, known for his eclectic and unconventional film choices, is dating Joelle Rich, an attorney who previously presented him in his UK trial against ex-wife actress Amber Heard. But reports say the affair isn’t exclusive.
Joelle Rich, the attorney for the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, fought a legal case in 2018 against the ex-wife for defamation allegations published by the SUN for defaming him as “a wife beater”. Deep accused his ex-wife of constituting a hoax that brought a consequence. In fact, he claimed Disney declined to cast his future projects.
The trial ended in 2020 in the SUN’s favour, but the Deep appealed in US courts and won and earned $15 million in damages. The court also ordered the actress to pay him $2 million as compensation for one of Depp’s former defaming Heard in the media.
According to Page Six, Rich, a partner at the Schillings law firm, would arrive with the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, sit directly behind him in the first row, wave to his fans upon the day’s end, exit the premises with him and even leave in the same vehicle.
